KATERINA VORONINA was born in Moscow, where she studied painting for six years at the Art Academy and then received her second degree in Illustration at the British High School of Design (BHSAD), Moscow, Russia. Following her graduation she continued to independently expand her skills — for example she taught herself animation.

From 2016 - 2018 Katerina was based in Tel Aviv. She was invited to collaborate with the Israeli “Studio Poink” on a private project, called “Camilla”. She drew backgrounds for this 7 minute cartoon. “Camilla” was later short listed for the 2018 Cannes Festival.

In November 2018 Katerina moved to Berlin, where she now resides.
She is an avid sketcher, and co-founded a project called Sunday Sketching Berlin, which offers changing topics and tasks dedicated to sketching in various locations around Berlin, led by Katerina and her colleague.

Her works can be found in various magazines and children books, application animations and websites.
